The Purpose of Purple Ring Society

After a year of being a part of PRS I can honestly say we have grown and are continuing to work harder in order to become a prominent woman’s non-profit organization; helping empower the lives of women and volunteering our time in order to make the community better.
We have been a part of many events and were recently honored for our hard work and dedication; not only as a non-profit organization but as strong women who are making moves in order to better ourselves and women around us.
Lately I have been behind the scenes trying to find my way in life, trying to figure out what God has in store for me, and it was up until yesterday (literally) that I realized being a part of PRS is something that I not only need, but that I need to take advantage of.
As I continue to grow into a mature strong minded woman, I notice that there are still a great deal of young women my age in the world who don’t have the positive support they’re needing in order to succeed in life.  Being a part of PRS has not only taught me the importance of how to carry myself as a lady, but has also taught me that there are women out there who do not hate and manifest in the “activities” that breaks up most female friendships in the world today.
We are all victims of situations that caused us to be involved in drama, and normally after each situation it creates a grey area within us when having relationships with females.
PRS represents completely OPPOSITE of that. We do not condone cattiness and other disruptive behavior that can bring women down, no matter if it has to do with Family, Friendships, Relationships, or Jobs. We are here to uplift!
When you research the meanings of the color “Purple” you will find:
Purple is the color of good judgment. It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. It is said if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind. Purple is a good color to use in meditation.

Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color. Most children love the color purple. Purple is the color most favored by artists. Thursday's color is purple.  (Taken from; http://crystal-cure.com/purple.html )

I am blessed to be apart of such an amazing non-profit organization that is definitely about to take off. Being a strong believer of “Quality and NOT Quantity” we want to make sure we are updating our blog with informative advice that we too believe in and not just to keep it current.

Please be sure to check back with us in the near future as we are gearing up for events in May!
